Nature shows us that life is a constant process of renewal. From the dreaming times of winter, night, and darkness, new life
emerges again and again, to grow and blossom into new forms. The dance is the same: new movements arise again and again,
unique expressions of life that awaken the universal spirit that lives in and all around us.
This Spring Equinox gathering is an invitation to come together and use the forms of Movement Medicine to dance a ritual of
Renewal--for ourselves, for each other and the ones we love, for the circles we are a part of and the wider world field, for the whole
web of life. All are welcome.
Movement Medicine is a subtle, powerful body of work created by Ya'acov and Susannah Darling Khan, combining dance, shamanic practice and therapeutic methods. Christian was one fo the first pathfinder teachers of Movement Medicine and has worked with Ya'acov and Susannah for 20 years.
Christian de Sousa has been teaching movement practice since 2004, building a large and diverse conscious dance community in London and teaching internationally as faculty for the School of Movement Medicine and OneDanceTribe. He seeks to bring depth, simplicity and humor to support people to discover their soulful embodiment. He is a founder of Dancing Tao CIC, also teaches the 5Rhythms®, and is a DJ, artist and Dad.
